Our review
Most detangling brushes are designed with straight or wavy hair in mind; Bautero goes the other way: it's built for tight curls, coils and 4C hair, where knots are denser and breakage happens more easily.
Its single-length bristles are very flexible, so they bend with the knot instead of forcing through it. The open back lets air and water through, so the brush rinses and dries quickly — handy if you use it with conditioner or leave-in.
It's light (37 g) and works wet or dry. Its big rival is the Wet Brush Original, far cheaper with tens of thousands of reviews; the Bautero costs three times more, but its wider-spaced bristles make it more comfortable on very dense hair.
