Rodan + Fields is the brand of the dermatologists behind Proactiv, and the Reverse line focuses on tone and texture. This cleanser combines three exfoliating acids (glycolic, lactic and salicylic) with very fine physical particles.
The result is smoother, brighter skin from the first uses, and an easy way to exfoliate without adding a step. As a cleanser, the acids stay on skin briefly, making it more tolerable than a leave-on exfoliant.
Even so, double exfoliation can be too much for sensitive skin or if you already use retinoids or acids; start 2–3 times a week. With 86 Amazon reviews the rating is very good, though the price is high for a cleanser.
How to use
Massage onto damp skin for 30–60 seconds avoiding the eye area, then rinse. Start 2–3 times a week and wear sunscreen by day.
